Mark your calendars for this year’s Governor’s Blue Ribbon Livestock Auction, taking place Wednesday, August 12th, 2026. The reception starts at 5 pm, followed by the program and Auction.
The Governor’s Blue Ribbon Livestock Auction is traditionally held Wednesday evening following Wisconsin State Fair’s Grand Champion Drive in the Coliseum. Every year, the event draws a crowd of over 800 guests to support youth exhibiting the Champion livestock.
The Auction is a premier agricultural event of the annual Wisconsin State Fair. From auctioning the champion market animals to awarding $57,000 in scholarships to giving youth grant awards, the Governor's Blue Ribbon Livestock Auction is proud to bring together companies and individuals who are excited to support Wisconsin’s youth.
Tickets purchased before or on August 5, 2026, are $60. Tickets purchased after August 5, 2026 are $75.
Auction tickets purchased before August 1, 2026 will receive complimentary Wisconsin State Fair tickets.
